"What?" you say.
"The movie was KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park', right?
But, apparently, if you lived in Europe and paid money to see the flick, it was called KISS : ATTACK OF THE PHANTOM.
AND...
It was SO MUCH BETTER than we we watched for free on TV!!!
What we saw as kids wathcing b/w Tvs (okay, maybe this is just me, lol) doesn't hold a candle to what European's saw in the theatres! I believe this because I have recently bought and watched KISS MEETS THE PHANTOM OF THE PARK, and now own KISS: ATTACK OF THE PHANTOM via KISSOlogy, Volume 2.
First of all... It's SO MUCH PRETTIER!!! Second of all, watching the European theatrical cut, you can imagine how KISS read the script and thought "yeah; we should make this moive." If you've only seen KISS MEETS THE PHANTOM OF THE PARK you're left wondering "What the hell did they waste their time doing THAT for?!!" But the European theatrical release feels more like a movie and less like a masterbatory exorcise in specal effects and Pop Culture, lol.
There ACTUALLY IS a story buried in there somehwere, lol.
PLUS...
Did I mention: PRETTY, hehe. :)
So my point?
Go buy "KISSology, Volume 2" IMMEDIATELY!!!
lol
Did I mention that BOTH versionas are mind-bogglingly '70s? Oh, well... They are, lol.
Still... If you're adicticted to all things KISS, the Eurpoean theatrical release is DEFINITELY the version to watch!
:)
